Hồi còn là sinh viên, tôi may mắn được học và làm việc với rất nhiều Thầy Cô, nhưng có một người Thầy mà tôi không thể nào quên. Đó là một người Thầy lớn tuổi, hiền hậu, luôn tận tụy với sinh viên và cả những người từng học với Thầy. Thầy không chỉ dạy tôi những kiến thức chuyên môn trên giảng đường mà còn là người hướng dẫn tôi trong nhiều quyết định trong cuộc sống.
Những ngày tháng ấy, tôi thường đến gặp Thầy, không chỉ để hỏi bài mà còn để lắng nghe những chia sẻ, những lời khuyên từ kinh nghiệm quý báu mà Thầy đã tích lũy qua bao năm. Thầy luôn kiên nhẫn, chỉ bảo tôi từ những điều nhỏ nhất, từ việc học hành đến các vấn đề cá nhân. Có những lúc tôi lúng túng trước ngã rẽ của cuộc sống, nhưng chỉ cần Thầy nói vài lời, tôi lại thấy lòng mình nhẹ nhõm, định hướng được con đường đi phía trước.
Giờ đây, tôi sống và làm việc ở một tỉnh thành xa, không còn có thể gặp Thầy thường xuyên như trước. Nhưng mỗi khi đứng trước một quyết định khó khăn, điều đầu tiên tôi nghĩ đến là nhắn cho Thầy một câu “Thầy ơi!”. Chỉ vậy thôi, Thầy đã hiểu, và tôi lại nhận được những lời khuyên đầy thấu hiểu, đầy yêu thương như những ngày còn ngồi trên ghế giảng đường. Có một dịp 20/11, trên đường lái xe đi làm, tôi chợt nghĩ. Đến một lúc nào đó, Thầy sẽ già đi và không còn nữa thì tôi sẽ trống vắng, bơ vơ, hụt hẫng biết bao, sẽ như đứa trẻ không còn cha còn mẹ.
Thời gian trôi qua, nhiều thứ thay đổi, nhưng sự kết nối giữa tôi và Thầy vẫn nguyên vẹn. Trong lòng tôi, Thầy luôn là một người dẫn đường đáng kính, người đã giúp tôi không chỉ trên con đường học vấn mà còn trong cuộc sống. Những lời Thầy nói, những bài học Thầy dạy, tôi luôn mang theo bên mình, như một phần không thể thiếu trong hành trình trưởng thành của mình.
