Nhà tôi nằm sâu trong một góc nhỏ của làng quê, nơi mọi người quen gọi là “đảo” do quá xa trung tâm và tách biệt với mọi người. Cái cảm giác cô lập đôi khi khiến tôi khó chịu, nhất là những lúc đạp xe đi học hay chỉ đơn giản là đi chơi buổi tối mà thấy bất tiện. Từ nhỏ, tôi đã luôn khát khao được thoát khỏi sự biệt lập này, ra trung tâm nơi mà mọi người gọi là sầm uất. Cũng không hẳn là tôi thích cuộc sống nhộn nhịp mà tôi muốn biết mọi người ở cái nơi gọi là sầm uất, phát triển đó sống như thế nào? Họ ăn uống ra sao, họ suy nghĩ tiến bộ như nào, họ có những thú tiêu khiển gì… Tôi sợ mình bị tụt hậu so với họ.
Một ngày nọ đứng ở con ngõ vào nhà, tôi nhìn xa xa cách dăm ba cây số, tôi thấy một chiếc xe ô tô lướt trên đường làng (lúc đó chắc tôi tầm 6-7 tuổi). Với cái nơi gọi là “khỉ ho cò gáy” như quê tôi mà có con xe lướt qua như vậy là xịn lắm. Tôi đã ước sau này lớn lên mình có được chiếc xe đi như vậy.
Rồi mỗi khi được nghỉ hè, tôi luôn tìm mọi cách để xin bố mẹ đi lên thành phố chơi ở nhà các bác cho mở mang tầm mắt, đi đây đi đó, xem thế giới ngoài kia rộng lớn như nào. Cố gắng học giỏi, cố gắng ngoan để hè được đi như là phần thưởng cuối năm học.
Lớn lên chút tôi biết đến máy tính xách tay, tôi ước mình có 1 cái. Tôi tưởng tượng ra cảnh mình ngồi trên xe ô tô, mở laptop ra làm việc chắc sẽ ngầu lắm.
Cứ như vậy, tôi ước mơ nhiều cái hơn nữa…
Và giờ khi tôi đã thực hiện được phần lớn những ước mơ thuở bé đó của mình tôi nhận ra rằng mình đã dám ước mơ, mình dám làm và kiên trì thực hiện. Khi tôi dám ước mơ và tôi kiên trì thực hiện nó, cố gắng hết sức thì cơ hội có được thứ mình mơ ước sẽ đến gần. Chỉ sợ rằng mình không dám ước mơ, khi không dám ước mơ, không thực hiện và không kiên trì thực hiện thì sẽ chẳng bao giờ có được.
Cuộc sống sẽ mất đi rất nhiều ý nghĩa nếu chúng ta ngừng mơ ước. Đừng lo ước mơ của mình quá nhỏ bé hay ngớ ngẩn. Điều quan trọng là đừng quá lo lắng, dám ước mơ, hãy kiên trì thực hiện.
